duct tape wallet

Joseph's Story
When I met Jacob in 1st grade at Purchase Elementary, I knew right away that there was something special about him. As I grew older, I began to appreciate his fighting spirit and perseverance. I wanted to help his cause, but I never knew how I could do so. That's where the wallets come into play.

One night I was hanging out with my friend Dean, when we decided to find something to do. Soon enough, we started making all different origami sculptures with computer paper. Eventually we found a video for making a paper wallet, which we thought was really cool. After a disastrous day of sales at school, we knew we needed to take it up a notch. A neighbor of mine recommended duct tape, and that was it. We soon made colorful and unique duct tape wallets, which sold for more money and were much better than paper. Soon enough, business took off.

One day, my dad was in Candy Rox, a candy store in Rye. He pulled out his Black and Gold duct tape wallet to pay, when the owner of the store asked where it was from. My dad told the owner about me and how I make them, and soon enough, we were business partners. Hundreds of dollars worth of duct tape wallets later, every penny made from the duct tape wallets at Candy Rox has been donated to my friend, Jacob.
